This has been going on too long. The council should be looking for ways to dismiss MAHC and bring back two boards to look after the two distinct regions it is now ill-serving. The present board has been unresponsive to the
needs and thoughtful suggestions from South Muskokans.
Thank you Barry Hammond for your continuing voice calling for fair representation.

Thanks, Brenda. We agree. There is absolutely no public consensus that MAHC’s current plan is suitable and acceptable for South Muskoka. It’s beyond frustrating that the public is not getting detailed updates and then are also being labelled as the the proprietors of misinformation! It defies logic and is certainly no way to build trust.

We do wish that our volunteer efforts and talents as a Committee could be used to rally for a fantastic new hospital in South Muskoka – and we’re looking forward to the day when MAHC and others keep their promise to build two equitable service acute care hospitals in Muskoka so that we can shift gears accordingly. Until then, however, we remain motivated and steadfast to keep up the “good fight” for the well-being of our South Muskoka communities!
